London Snow Daze

Snow!! And not just the usual crappy snow that sort of settles, creating a black layer of grease over the grime of London, and hinting at the beauty that could occur from a proper covering. No, this time, we've got real, actual, deep snow. So much snow, in fact, that all the buses have stopped working, and we're having to resort to alternate transport mechanisms to get around:

Who needs a bus?

Had a whole heap of fun in messing about in Brockwell Park before it started to get really busy. Sadly it's not really that steep or long, and figured that building a kicker would prove fairly humiliating when I failed to get any speed up after an hour building it. So just a few runs down the hill:

and a photo op or two:

brought to by the national lottery

So then we retired to the cafe for a big fry up, and now we're just enjoying watching the kids playing in the park, and a general sense of well-being from being surrounded by snow.

It's a great preview for the trip we're taking in two weeks to the mountains in France where we get to ride properly - yay!

...this looks like SO MUCH

...this looks like SO MUCH FUN!!!
no doubt it will have all melted by the time i get there...

yep, sadly it is already

yep, sadly it is already disappearing - but you should be grateful; you may not have been able to land otherwise!! ;-)
