Twitter for the win (ish)

Yesterday I was taken into central London for a couple of different meetings. The meetings went well, but that is not the point of this entry. The point is that the two meetings were some four hours apart, and I didn't really know what to do with my time between the two of them. The first part of this problem was dealt with looking at some iCandy (mmmm apple store goodness), followed by some much delayed shopping. But this still left me with several hours to kill.

I've been interested in the announcement of the digital britain interim report, and wanted to offer some thoughts on the content of it. I don't know whether you are particularly looking for feedback from individuals as opposed to organisations, but for what it is worth, here are some initial thoughts:

Not the Whole Internet

A discussion on slashdot today has made me aware of the fact that I don't appear to have access to the whole of the internet anymore, but only that which my ISP Virgin deem suitable for me. The issue seems to revolve around their use of the Internet Watch Foundation for a source of blacklisting, which has blacklisted this article about the Virgin Killer album, which has a picture of a naked child on the cover.
