unbelievable, I can't believe that Claire and I have been in the new place for over 3 weeks already. It's been a crazy few weeks, with all sorts of pressures at work, chaos at home, and some cracking moments of relaxation dotted about in between. This weekend we celebrated Iona's christening, with blazing sunshine, and an interesting decision by dave and octavia to have me as godfather. It was a lovely day - and I was extremely impressed by how drunk Dave got by the end of it! There are also some photos up for your enjoyment ...

The rest of the weekend saw me in Oxford shopping for shoes for the aforementioned christening (most enjoyable shoe shop ever - the assistant in the 3rd shop was clearly some kind of shoe expert and I felt very confident getting the shoes, not something I normally get when buying shoes), and accidentally buying a shirt in the process. There were birthday celebrations for John and Audrey on Friday, and then a welcome home gathering for Ro yesterday evening, with Bendy, Sarah, Paton and Jordan, which was a lovely way of ending the weekend.

I guess that's me brought vaguely up to date ... everyone remember to keep 7th July free for my 30th celebrations!!
